Co-Founder & Director – Sky Path Global Aviation Academy
Clement Lakshman Pieries is the Co-Founder & Director of Sky Path Global Aviation Academy, bringing over 16 years of international aviation experience across the United States, Dubai, and Sri Lanka. His career includes leadership and operational roles with dnata – Emirates Group (Dubai) and JetBlue Airways (USA), where he developed extensive expertise in airport operations, ramp services, aircraft turnaround, flight dispatch support, load control, and ground handling.
An academically accomplished aviation professional, Clement completed his Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) from Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology (HIET), Chennai in 1998, providing him with a strong technical foundation in aircraft systems and maintenance principles. He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining Flight Dispatch Training from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), USA, equipping him with advanced knowledge in flight planning, operational control, aviation regulations, aircraft performance, meteorology, navigation, and international airline operations.
As Co-Founder & Director, Clement is committed to building an institution that delivers globally benchmarked aviation education by combining technical excellence with practical industry experience. His vision is to prepare students to meet the highest international standards while developing the professionalism, leadership, and operational competence demanded by airlines and airports worldwide.
